We are so excited to welcome our students back to school on Tuesday!

I would like to extend my warm greetings to the John Darling School Community. My name is Liz Arbuckle, and I am honoured to be the interim principal for the start of this school year.

At this time, we are unable to share classroom or teacher assignments via School-Day. This is how you may have accessed this information in previous school years. We appreciate our school community and understand that this situation is not ideal for anyone. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

For all John Darling in-person students, please plan for the following:

  • Arrive at John Darling no later than 8:50
  • Please congregate at the tarmac area
  • Look for your Grade Level (signs will show your grade level)
  • Educators in bright yellow/green vests will be present to guide students into their grade level and their teacher line.
  • Students will be welcomed into the school shortly after most students are in their teacher lines.

In the event of rain, we will have all students meet in the gym.

Please, in order to keep all students and adults safe:

  • Aim to walk to school if you can to avoid unnecessary vehicular traffic
  • Walk your bike/scooter/skateboard on school property
  • No parking in the school parking lot or on the street to accommodate moving traffic, and buses
