We’re excited to welcome all Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) students, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, back to school.

Below, families will find important information they need to know for the beginning of the school year.

School Information for Parents, Caregivers and Families

Our online information package is now updated for the 2022-2023 school year. Please take a few moments to review this information. The information in the online package applies to all students in WRDSB. School-specific information will be sent out by each school through their regular channels.

Action Required

The collection of some action required forms may be delayed for the start of the 2022-23 school year, until School-Day is available for all families. Schools will communicate with families about their approach to the collection of this information.

The Action Required page provides information to families about forms and paperwork that will need to be completed and returned to your school at the beginning of the school year.

Visit the Action Required page.

Elementary Class Assignments

Your child’s school will be sharing information about how your child will find out who their classroom teacher is for the 2022-23 school year. Students will find out this information on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 6.

We encourage families to continue to check their school’s website before September 6, 2022 to learn how their school is sharing this information.
