We appreciate your continued support of our School Council Fundraising initiatives.   Here is another option for families who may not want to participate in a fundraiser, but would like to make a donation to support initiatives at John Darling P.S.

‘The Waterloo Education Foundation Inc. (WEFI) is a registered non-profit charity dedicated to enhancing the quality of public education in the Waterloo Region District School Board.  WEFI accepts donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations interested in furthering excellence in public education and issues charitable tax receipts.  Receipts for income tax purposes will be issued for donations of $15.00 or more. An independent Board of Directors whose membership includes representatives of the community and educators governs it.’

The benefit of this option is that 100% of the funds goes to the school in comparison to fundraisers where a portion of the profits goes to the school.  If you prefer this option, simply write your donation cheque to John Darling P.S.- WEFI and submit it during the fundraiser in an envelope clearly marked WEFI Donation.      Thank You for your continued support!
