Dear Parents/Guardians,

First Term progress reports will be sent home on Monday, November 14, 2016.

Progress reports are a snapshot of student development and learning skills over the first few weeks of school, and outline three categories of achievement: Progressing Very Well (PVW), Progressing Well (PW), or progressing with difficulty (PWD). These categories are indicators of the progress your child is making towards achievement of the curriculum expectations.

This year the afternoon of Friday, November 18 has been designated by our Board for conducting parent-teacher interviews. Interviews will be held on this day at John Darling School between the hours of 12:00 noon and 3:10 p.m. Other dates and times may be arranged with the teacher. Teachers will be contacting parents if they feel an interview would be beneficial. As well, parents are most welcome to contact the teachers to obtain an interview. Interviews can be conducted on the phone or in person with the teacher(s).

Parent-teacher conferences are excellent opportunities for parents and teachers to share and discuss additional information regarding your child’s progress.
