An enthusiastic group of runners made up of John Darling students, staff and families participated in the 10th ‘Mudpuppy Chase’ Fun Run on Sunday May 3rd at Laurel Creek Conservation Area. 

There were 32 members of our team participating in either the 3 kilometer or the 5 kilometer run.  One of our Dads actually ran in both races?  Although our Running Club motto this spring became ‘We Run – Snow or Sun’, we were all glad to have the warm sun shining on race day! The Mudpuppy supports many local charities, including KidsAbility. John Darling was one of the top fundraising schools, raising $1400 for the cause! The team has won a pizza party as a thank you for its efforts.
