SEPTEMBER 3rd is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Class lists will be posted at on the parking lot doors by 3:45pm on Friday, August 30th.

We are excited about welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday!  Our school day begins at 8:50am.

Students will be greeted outside by our staff and will enter the school via the gym doors.  Parents are welcome to join us in the gym for morning exercises.  Students will be introduced to our staff and will meet their teachers and fellow classmates.  John Darling’s 2013/2014 classes will be dismissed from the gymnasium.

Throughout the school year, students will enter and exit the school via their assigned doors (with the exception of our Rainy morning entry procedure.)  Parents/caregivers are asked to remain outside for both drop off and pick up routines each day.  This promotes independence in our students and assists in reducing the congestion in our hallways.  Lastly,  when parents/caregivers wait outside, it helps our school staff monitor the visitors inside the building and improves the safety for all our occupants.

Our students and their families/caregivers are encouraged to walk to and from school as often as they can.  Parking is available in designated areas along the side streets.  The school parking lot is intended for our growing staff and for visitors to the school office.  Please be reminded that all visitors must report immediately to the office upon entering the school.

Our school day ends at 3:10pm.
